Today I started working again part time from home. It's a little hard when I need to work and I just want to hold you. So I did hold you and play soft music while I worked with one free hand... You slept for am hour in my arms.
We also had your first family home evening tonight. We listened to a scripture story and music. It's fun to have you here..feels like we are an official family!
You are now 6 weeks old! time has gone by so quickly and I can see you changing everyday. today we took you to church for the first time and you did great.. your dad had some sacrament meeting anxiety that you were going to cry the whole time but you were just perfect.
another fun thing today was while you were on your changing table I was smiling and talking to you when you started smiling and cackeling back at me. it was so fun!
You love to look around.. You love looking at your dad. You love looking at the fans above your changing table and anything that has a pattern. Your my cute little monkey!
We took you to the crime & punishment museum. You were an angel and slept while your dad and I had fun going through. We even took you on a walk hrough part of downtown dc's night life.
Today we got up early and took grandpa to the airport. That's the last of our company..its just me you and Dad. Tonight Danny had to work 7pm-7am so we were on our own but you did great and made me feel happy that I can sooth you to sleep. You have started recognizing my face and it melts my heart to see your ' happy eyes' when you see me andDanny. You also can now fit into 3 of your newborn outfits.., you're growing up little bug xoxo
Oh and p.s. I was having fun and gave you a mohawk and then swirls while I was feeding you :) too cute!
Today we took you to the shooting range with danny and grandpa. You loved it!! Well at least that's how it seemed while you slept in your carseat :)
You are beautiful! Tonight your dad and I were admiring how cute you are and with wide open eyes you smiled super big!! This was the first time with your eyes open and not half asleep that you've smiled and it was beautiful. We love you so much and you get cuter everyday. Xoxo
