Your dad was on call tonight at the hospital and didn't get home until 11pm so by the end of the day both our our energy was spent and luckily you went to bed really fast!!  I know you miss him when you keep looking at the door like someone is going to come through it anytime.  It's super sweet and I want you to know how much your Dad loves you and what a sacrifice he is making by working so hard to get a good job and gain the knowledge he can so that he can be successful.  He loves you more than anything and is such a wonderful kind father to you.

I can't believe how big you are getting!! You're looking more and more like a little toddler everyday and I want time to slow down so we can just have "Mama, Baby" time and snuggle more!!  I love this picture because this is how you are loving to sleep now with one arm over your face with little wiggling fingers that pull on my shirt until you fall asleep.  You are so loved little angel.

Your Dad and I are taking a special parenting class at church and it has helped me in so many ways renew my love for being a mother and wife.  Today I am making the commitment to show love in every way when we are together.   Sometimes we both get a little frustrated because communication isn't the easiest when your this little so you get upset and after a while I may lose my patience as well.   Hopefully with some extra love and the Spirit from our Heavenly Father in our home we can have a nice calm week :)

Today we went to philly for maggie's first birthday.  You have been doing a LOT better on car rides.  For longer trips one of us has to sit in the back with you and since you love him the most.. .it's usually Dada.  I can't imagine when you will be one and running around! So crazy.. you had a great time watching all the kids and even West got a kick out of smothering you to tears with kisses ;)

 You loved watching Maggie open her gifts and would squeal with delight :)

Baby meltdown. I wanted a picture of you two together but it was too late at night and so once Maggie started crying so did you. Haha.. so adorable how you were either upset for Maggie or upset by her crying. 

 I tried to put you in your swing and looks like you are too big now!! You can reach the little animals on the mobile above you... Also you looked so cute crying with your cupcake bib on that I couldn't resist taking a pic haha

I was changing your diaper today you started doing what I call twig legs.  That is where you stick both legs straight up into the air.  It's pretty hilarious.  You can't quite reach your feet but can make it to your knees.  Now when you are either on your back or in your little chair you are randomly doing twig legs and screaming with excitement.  So funny!!

Today you're hand waving!! I was working with you today and showing you my hand and your hand and then how to open close wave and for 10 min you sat and waved with me! It was so fun to see you learning and I can't believe what a smart little bug you are.  It's been off and on all day that your trying to master it. 
You have also really been into books.  You sit quietly observing when I read or sing to you.  I wonder what is going on in your little mind as you open and close your mouth (with no sound coming out) trying to imitate me as I read.

Last night and today you were one sad cookie... You went to sleep at 10pm-1am and then stayed awake until 3am!!  I finally had to sleep with you on the couch for an hour to get you to calm down and go to sleep.  You only want to be held while you sleep and if I try and put you down you would immediately wake up and start crying.  I finally got you into your crib around 4am and you slept until 7am and then I put you in bed with me until 9am.  It was a rough night for both of us... Your little tooth is trying so hard to come through but you have whimpered and cried pretty much the whole day today!  Your appetite is at an all time low and I feel so bad cuz you also have a fever that I've been trying to treat with Tylenol and Oragel for your teeth.  Poor little one.. it breaks my heart to see you so sad!!
Developmentally you started to open and close your left hand randomly. It's pretty cute and I wonder if you will be left handed.  You grab all toys with your left first and you kick your left leg a whole lot more than your right.  Maybe it means you're super smart :)  That's what I'm going to go with.
You also got scared of Dada today.. he had his different glasses on with his white coat and you started screaming/crying at him when he got home.  After a few min you warmed up to him again but you sure do get shocked sometimes and the result is what we call a mini meltdown.  It's pretty cute even though you cling onto me like your world is about to end.   We love you so much and your fun spunky personality and hope that tooth comes through really quick!
